ABOUT
Stephanie Joseph, MA, MEd is a 2nd year School Psychology PhD student at Temple University. She received her Bachelor’s from NYU and her Master’s in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she completed her thesis on the implications of racial and gendered stereotypes on Black women’s identity development. Ms. Joseph’s research interests include examining racial and gender identity development of Black women and girls, as well as developing and evaluating culturally sensitive assessments and interventions for marginalized/underrepresented communities. Additionally, Ms. Joseph is the Co-chair for the Society for Media Psychology & Technology Student Committee (Division 46).
