ABOUT
Elizabeth Murphy, MMR., MA., is a Ph.D. student in the Media Psychology program at Fielding Graduate University. She has a dual background in business and psychology and has worked in corporate marketing research and in private practice as a psychotherapist. She currently works for a non-profit and enjoys her work with older adults. She is particularly interested in narrative, storytelling, positive psychology, film, and later stages of the lifespan as well as the impact of media & technology on relationships, mental health, and behavior. Elizabeth has co-authored four posters with Sara Cureton on the topics of shared experience, personality, moviegoing, narrative meaning-making, and representation.
