ABOUT
Chris Ferguson is a professor of psychology at Stetson University. He has published numerous articles related to media effects ranging from video game violence to thin-ideal media, to sexualization in media. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Society and president elect of The Society of Media Psychology and Technology. He has authored several books on psychology including Moral Combat: Why the War on Violent Video Games is Wrong as well as How Madness Shaped History. He also authored a mystery novel set in 15th century Florence called Suicide Kings. He lives in Orlando with his wife and son.
